Medical Assistant / Full-Time:
Mid-America Orthopedics is accepting resumes for a full-time medical assistant. Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working in a clinic or hospital setting required, orthopedic experience preferred. Must be proficient in medical terminology. A strong aptitude for multi-tasking in a fast paced environment is required. Must have excellent customer service skills and be results driven.
Billing Clerk: Growing orthopedic office has an opening for a full-time billing clerk at our East Wichita location. A minimum of two-years experience and knowledge of medical billing procedures required. Must possess the ability to work independently, be detail oriented and a team player. Supervisory experience is a plus. Strong computer skills and an aptitude for multi-tasking in a faced paced environment with a solid background in customer service required.
Medical Scheduler: Growing orthopedic office is accepting resumes for a full-time scheduler. Must have at least 2- 3 years experience working as a medical receptionist to include checking patients in and working a check out desk. Duties include answering and handling a high volume of calls on a multi-line phone system, accurate registration of new patients, an understanding of insurances, and proper scheduling for multi-specialty practice, attention to detail with a high level of proficiency, a good verbal communicator, and some clerical duties. Orthopedic and physical therapy experience is preferred. Working knowledge of insurance authorizations and utilization of medical software required. A strong aptitude for multi-tasking in a fast paced environment is required. Must have excellent customer service skills and be results driven.
