About Kent Heady, MD
Dr. Heady is a fellowship trained and board-certified orthopedic surgeon with over twenty years’ experience in foot and ankle surgery. He was born in rural Kansas and earned degrees in physics from Kansas State University and California Institute of Technology before pursuing medicine. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, including two clinical years in Wichita. He completed orthopedic surgery residency at Greenville Hospital System in South Carolina and did a foot and ankle fellowship in Galveston, Texas under Dr. Saul Trevino before returning to Wichita for practice. He specializes in reconstructive surgery and diabetic foot care but treats all areas of foot and ankle problems. He practices at both Ascension Via Christi and HCA Hospital systems as well as outpatient surgery centers. In his spare time he loves travelling to national parks and hiking with his family.
