About Thomas Woodard, DO
Dr. Thomas Woodard is a fellowship-trained chronic pain physician dedicated to helping patients reduce pain and improve their overall quality of life through advanced, minimally invasive treatment options. Born and raised in Wichita, Kansas, Dr. Woodard earned his degree in biochemistry from Rockhurst University before attending medical school at A.T. Still University. He completed his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Kansas – Wichita. He then pursued specialized fellowship training in chronic pain management at the University of Florida. Following his fellowship, Dr. Woodard returned home to Wichita and joined Mid-America Orthopedics in 2026. His practice focuses on opioid-sparing, advanced interventional pain therapies and minimally invasive surgical procedures designed to treat chronic pain while restoring function and enhancing patients’ daily lives. Dr. Woodard sees patients at the West Wichita and East Wichita offices of Mid-America Orthopedics.
